FAQ

Can we meet before we book?

Absolutely! Please ensure that we are in the top 2 photo/video vendors you are considering. Our schedule only allows for serious clients, so please ensure that you have weeded out most of your photographer choices first. In this case please make an appointment at our studio in South Jersey. Marcia meets with all the clients and would be happy to schedule a day with you.

How do I book our date?

The first step is to fill out our contact page and answer all questions thoroughly. That way we can price your wedding so it is catered to you, your needs, and answer any questions you may have. Once you fill out our Contact page, you will be sent our Brochure automatically to the email address you provided. Click on the options you want in our Brochure to make your own custom package. That way, we can put together a proposal for you. Once you receive our proposal and decide you would like to book us, you can sign our digital agreement from there which will hold your date in our calendar so no one else can take it.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes! We have a few payment options, with our most popular being that you pay in thirds. A third due at the signing of the agreement, a third due midway, with the last third payment being due the day of your wedding. Please ask about our other payment options if this isn't for you.

Do you work internationally?

We love staying close to home being the Tri-State area around South Jersey. However, if you really love us, please be in touch so we can find out more information. We would never turn down a huge fan of our work.

What is your typical turn-around time on getting photos back?

Around a month! We do this full-time, so editing is a priority during the week and we take pride about our fast turn around times, and our clients love it too!

What payment methods are available?

Credit card, debit, cash, check, money order, Paypal, Venmo, and more.

What are your hours?

You can email us anytime, but the best time to contact us is during the week. We prefer that you plan with your lead wedding photographer directly once you have booked us. Marcia, your CRM, and your photographer are on call all the time for you to reach out to. We take pride in our excellent communications. Usually, we are shooting weddings on weekends and engagement sessions during the week, so if we do not respond to messages, we are probably on a job or it is not during normal business hours. We do appreciate your understanding and will be in touch on Monday or the next available day.

Can you provide a certificate of liability insurance?

Yes, and any photographer you choose should be able to provide this because it is underestimated how important this is to have. Nothing has ever happened to us to use it, but it is a safety net just in case. We are also able to put your venue down as additionally insured if requested.

What does a typical Timeline look like?

You will discuss the nitty-gritty details in your timeline call with your photographer 2 months prior to your wedding date because every wedding is customized. But if you want a rough timeline, consider how much travel between locations, give around 1.5-2 hours for full getting ready after hair and makeup is done, at least a half-hour buffer time in hiding before the ceremony so guests don't see you in your dress, how long your ceremony will be, 1.5-2 hours for a first look and all portraits before the ceremony (couple portraits, bridal party, and family portraits), cocktail hour, and reception hours. Typically, we recommend at least 3 hours at the reception to get all the reception events and some dancing.
Obviously, this may change based on locations and how much you want to be photographed, but the most popular package is 8 or 9 hours for a full and complete wedding day visual story.
So...
Getting Ready - Up to 2 hours
First Look, Couple Portraits, Bridal Party, and Family Portraits - 2 hours
Buffer before Ceremony - 30 minutes
Ceremony - 30-60 minutes
Cocktail Hour - Pretty sure you know how long this is. If you choose a traditional wedding, all photos are squeezed into this hour and you may not get as many portraits as a first look would give.
Reception - 3 Hours

What is the difference between a First Look and a Traditional wedding?

A traditional wedding is when you see each other for the first time when you walk down the aisle. A first look is when you see each other before the ceremony, which also gives you a chance to get the photos out of the way including couple portraits, bridal party portraits, and family portraits. This allows you to enjoy your cocktail hour with your guests.

Do you offer Prints? How about Albums?

Yes, absolutely! We have a ton of options! You will receive a link to your online wedding gallery with your images. In your online gallery, not only will you be able to download your edited images, you will also have the option to order prints in the medium that you want. Since they are already uploaded to the site, ordering is made easy and they are delivered right to your doorstep.

We also offer 2 types of albums as well and the sizes/information about them is in our brochure. Once you pick the photos you want in your album, we design it around the photos you chose.
